For another of the reports on the need for reliable material handling, we visited a branch of the company Firesta-fišer, reconstruction, stavby a.s. He answered our questions Ing. Petr Šťasta, head of the Centre of Steel Structures based in Brno.

Firesta-fišer, re, stavby a.s. was founded in Brno in 1991 as a private company and started its activities with ten employees. It transformed into a joint-stock company in 1997 and currently employs more than 450 skilled regular staff. The head office of the company remains in Brno, but since 1991 the company has grown significantly. Today it has a number of spin-off plants in Prague, Pilsen, Ostrava and Bratislava. Since 2007, it has also been active abroad in markets in Poland and Romania.
