ŽPSV a.s. is a company with a long tradition in the production of concrete components, especially sleepers for railways (more precisely track supports). However, finished concrete products need to be handled, moved, stored and shipped. For this purpose, various handling techniques are used in the HVAC, as well as two novelties: bridge and gantry crane from the company ITECO from Brno.

This time we went with the report to look south of Moravia, specifically to Uherské Ostroh. However, in a small town with about 5,000 inhabitants there are several important industrial companies, including ŽPSV, a.s. This company is a traditional manufacturer and supplier of concrete products for the construction industry, focusing on transport (railway, road) and land construction, including revitalization of prefabricated houses, construction of industrial and commercial centers and ecological buildings. The production of eight production plants and two operations, including foreign ones, is directed primarily to meet the needs of the railways. The core program of ŽPSV has basically been the production of sleepers throughout its history. This specific and demanding production requires keeping up with modern trends in concrete production.
