The art of material handling... the bridge crane is a classic

KIPO, based in Čebín, offers individual customers small-batch production of CNC machining, milling, turning, drilling, conventional machining — turning, milling, drilling and grinding. It supplies parts including the required surface treatment, heat treatment, painting, etc. Experience with foreign partners, reliability, quality and own warehouses ensure a high level of service for customers. KIPO can process a fairly wide range of materials, from classic steel, aluminum, bronze, plastic, to gray cast iron. and the beginnings of KIPO were marked by a single lathe, working in rented premises, to the present form of a company with 35 employees, with a new production hall for 4 years, with a new production hall with high-quality facilities, requiring, among other things, high-quality material handling. For the purposes of KIPO, 4 years ago, the hall was equipped with two bridge cranes ITECO-ABUS ZLK with a carrying capacity of 20 tons with a span of 20.7 meters.

What is the four-year experience with cranes?

‍Janis Struhařík is satisfied with the technology after 4 years of operation of two cranes. He recalled one post-warranty fault with the sensor, which was promptly repaired. As he stated: “The proximity of the service from Brno (driving distance of about 30 minutes) was also one of the parameters for choosing a supplier, and experience confirmed this.” Thanks to this, Mr. Struhařík buys another 5-ton crane from ITECO for metrology operation.

Two-Girder Bridge Cranes — Heavy Duty Experts

Two-girder overhead cranes are produced in rolled or welded box girder designs. Two are stronger than one, which is why two-girder bridge cranes are designed to carry heavy loads up to 120 t. Like all indoor cranes, these can be perfectly integrated into planned or existing indoor structures with a permanent guarantee of high functionality, flexibility and comfort in operation. Two-girder bridge cranes are manufactured with spans of up to 40 m and offer the best conditions for additional equipment, e.g. higher crane speeds, the addition of maintenance bridges to the crane cat or the addition of additional, auxiliary lift.
